The Ghost of the Mansion will be held on October 24th at the Belvidere Mansion near Grand Lake Ok area. The event will take place at 7 pm and the doors open at 6 pm, in Claremore Oklahoma. The Rogers County Historical Society will present the evening with dinner and entertainment.
Tours of the mansion will be available during the evening and the show will take place on the third floor in the ballroom. The setting of the play takes place at the turn of the twentieth century when a couple moves into their new home. Guests have been invited for the weekend and mysteriously someone is “murdered.” Similarities exist between the play and the real mansion history.
The Belvidere Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. All proceeds from the evening will go to make future improvements on the mansion. For more information, please call the Rogers County Historical Society at 918-342-1127.
