The AMERICAN HERITAGE MUSIC FESTIVAL is June 7-9, 2018. The 21th Annual Music Festival celebrates our musical heritage with stellar entertainers and bands at the Grove Civic Center, (1720 S. Main Street), and Snider's Camp (located 1 mile South of Honey Creek Bridge and ½ mile East on 320 Road off of Hwy 59 S). Fiddlers, musicians and musical enthusiasts from across the U.S. gather for this exciting Festival of contests and entertainment.
This year, a new band showcase, "Bob Wills to Bluegrass Showdown" takes place on Friday at the Grove Civic Center with the winning band decided by audience applause. The winner receives a recording session at Teegarden Studios in Tulsa, ready to send out as promotion.
Headlining the Festival will be The Western Flyers, one of the most exciting new bands to glide onto the music scene in years. Their music is a distinctive cross section of authentic western swing, hot jazz and electrifying old-time tunes, featuring renowned guitar master Joey McKenzie, reigning National Swing Fiddle champion Katie Glassman and world class upright bassist Gavin Kelso.
