In celebration of our 20th Season, a most creative and delightful adaptation by Daniel Post of Kenneth Grahame's classic tale, "The Wind In The Willows" will be the 14th musical presented by The Playmakers' youth theatre group,The Off Broadway Troupers. This musical version is of the timeless tale of the friendship between Rat, Mole, Badger and Toad is a song-dream for audiences of any age. It is poetic, deeply intelligent, and funny, blending raffish comedy with quiet reflection. The task for the good-hearted Water Vole, the curious Mole and the sensible Badger is to save Toad from himself and retake Toad Hall from the Weasels, Stoats, and Ferrets. The production features our talented "Troupers" performing with an eclectic score which includes rock, calypso, tin-pan alley, and a Gilbert and Sullivan send-up.
