Grove's Location

Grove is located on the eastern shore of Grand Lake. Posistioned in the northeastern Oklahoma, Grove is only 76 miles northeast of Tulsa, OK.

Grove's Climate

The weather in Grove, Oklahoma is very moderate. The annual rainfall is 42 inches, with a mean temperature of 61 degrees. However, the average temperature in the summer rises to 82 degrees. Their biggest asset is that they have four visibly different yet uniquely beautiful seasons.

Monkey Island

This piece of land, which is located just a mere 20 miles southwest of Grove, is reachable by air, land or water. Monkey Island offers multiple attractions for its visitors and locals; such as, resorts, restuarants, real estate, spas, entertainment and much, much more. This island is also the home of Shangri-La Resort.

Bernice Area

Located in the middle of Grove, Vinita and Monkey Island, Bernice has earned the reputation oc Crappie Capital of the World. The Bernice we see today is not the first site. The original town is under water due to the construction of the Pensacola Dam. However, today locals and visitors can enjoy Bernice's many accomadations; such as, swimming, camping and picnicking. Some lodging available in Bernice is B & E Resort and Indian Hills Resort and Marina.

Historical Sites and Museums

Darryl Starbird's Rod & Custom Car Hall of Fame Museum
Displays 40 custom cars, dream cars, one of kind cars, and street rods. Located on Highway 85A. Admission: Adults-$6, Ages 8 - 12-$3, and 7 & under are free. Hours: Wednesday through Saturday 11 in the morning to 5pm. Call (918) 257-4234 for more information.

Har-Ber Village
One of the largest antique museums in the United States, Har-ber contains 100 different buildings each possessing many different collections of antiques. Located off Main Street on Har-ber Road, just three miles west of Grove. Admission: Free. Hours: From March 1 through November 15, Monday through Saturday from 9am to 6pm and on Sundays 11am to 6pm.

Cayuga Mission Church
This church is a symbol of the Indian Territory. Located on Hwy 10 near the Elk River Bridge. Services: April 4 through October 31 at 8:30am Sunday mornings.
