Grand Lake OK: Enjoy The Wyandotte Pow Wow Cultural Celebrations
Wyandotte Indian ethnicities come alive through the Wyandotte Nation Tribal Powwow. The festivity takes place from September 7th through September 9th at the Wyandotte Nation Tribal Grounds (East Hwy 60 – Wyandotte, Ok).
The tribal celebration will include dance competitions with traditional regalia. Races for cash prizes will be taking place in the following women’s classes: buckskin, fancy shawl, cloth, and jingle. Men’s rivalries will include grass, straight, traditional, and fancy dance.
