7/13 from 10 am ‐ 2 pm Barbershop Quartet Appreciation Day
7/19 and 7/20 from 9 am ‐ 5 pm Quilt Show
Visit our display at the My Oklahoma Home themed Grand Lake o’ the Cherokee Quilt Guild Show at the Grove Civic Center!
7/27 from 11:30 ‐ 1:30 pm National Picnic Month
Summer picnics are a great way to enjoy the outdoors and each other's company. Pack up the family, bring a picnic, and join us for a scavenger hunt on the Nature Trail, 9 am ‐ 3 pm Pick up instructions at Visitor Center (no charge). Museum admission not required.
August Events:
8/3 from 10 am ‐ noon National Watermelon Day
Join us in the Picnic Pavilion to enjoy a wedge of watermelon, participate in wacky water relays, and perfect your seed spitting skills! Museum admission not required.
8/10 from 10 am ‐ noon National S'more Day
S'mores date back to the 1920s. Perhaps they got their name because young kids chanted "gimme some more!" after eating one. Celebrate National S'more Day with a s'more scavenger hunt. Once you're done, go to the Visitor Center for your reward!
8/17 from 10 am ‐ 2 pm Honey Bee Day
Join us in the Nature Activity Room on National Honey Bee Day. Learn about the life of bees. Make a bee‐related craft.
8/24 from 10 am ‐ 2 pm Slime is of the Essence
Flubber, oobleck and floam—it's all slime to us! Are you brave enough to put your hands indifferent types of goo? Not only will you be able to experience these textures during your visit, you'll also take home some flubber in a baggie. Included with admission.
8/31 from 10 am ‐ 2 pm Labor Day Activities
Celebrate Labor Day at Har‐Ber Village. We'll have community worker puppets, occupation puzzles and games, coloring books, and more! Included with admission.
