Ottawa County Farmer’s Market 2019 Season Opening
The Ottawa County Farmer’s Market will open for the season on Thursday, May 2nd at 4 pm. The market is located at the Saints Episcopal Church in Miami, Oklahoma.
Season Opening Give Away
The first 250 individuals who come to the farmer’s market on opening night will receive a free reusable tote. The totes are courtesy of the Northeastern Tribal Health System.
For each $20 purchase made at the market, customers will receive a special bonus basket of selected produce. This special addition is provided by the Eastern Shawnee Foods Over Eighty Initiative while supplies last.
Food Stamps Option
For families on SNAP, you can use your food stamps to make purchases. And, for those making their first $20 purchase, they will receive free produce and raw nuts. This special addition is provided through the Double Up Oklahoma program.
All Families Welcome
All families and individuals are welcome to come join the season opening. There will be selections of fresh produce available for your shopping needs.
