Children and their families are invited to attend the Eastern Shawnee Children's Back to School Powwow. The Grand Lake Ok event will take place on August 5th starting at noon.
Admission to the event is free and the family will enjoy an educational experience in American Indian history. Additional fun for the children will include face painting, inflatables, pony rides, dancing, stories, and snow cones.
