Near Grand Lake Ok, Shepherd’s Cross offers the family a view of a reproduced Amish farm from the 1920s. The farm is located near Claremore, Oklahoma and offers tours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Admission is free for this attraction, although donations are appreciated.
The Shepherd’s Cross farm offers one hundred twenty acres of English country flair. The site includes a red gambrel roofed barn and silo. There are the Bible Gardens on the site where visitors can view the sheep grazing in the nearby pastures.
The Amish farm is also a working farm and runs with a Christian mission. There are a variety of animals on the farm, a nearby gift shop, and a small concession stand. Hayrides are available to visitors. Tours are available upon request, and drop ins are welcome, too. For large groups, the business asks for advance reservations.
