PLAYMAKERS' "GRETEL! THE MUSICAL" SET FOR OCTOBER
Before there was Hansel, there was Gretel! Based on the Slavic sources that are the origin stories of the tale, this musical version focuses on the girls and women at the center of the adventure. It opens at The Playmakers in Grove on October 16 and runs for 7 performances, ending on the Sunday, October 31, with a Halloween matinee with special contests and treats for young audience members. Ticket prices for adults are $15 each; for students Upper Elementary through HS, $8 each, and for students 4 yrs. through Lower Elementary, $5 each. Mask will be required of all audience members. Please let children under 4 years of age wait for a play designed especially for them.
