The Third Annual Old-Time Gathering & Music Festival, presented by Grand Lake Festivals and founder Jana Jae, will be hosted at Har-Ber Village Museum, Grove, OK. This exciting Music Festival will kick-off at Snider's Camp on Friday evening, October 17th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm with lakeside dinner, informal and fun jamming and an open stage. Saturday, October 18th at Har-Ber Village, the music and festivities will be from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm featuring outstanding stage performances with several musical genres, filling 3 stages at the Event Center and in the Village. The live music will feature musical styles including Old-Time, Celtic, Bluegrass, Swing and Country. Throughout Har-Ber Village also will be displays, exhibits, live history demonstrations and talks. The Festival will culminate with a Contra Dance in the Event Center, with live music and the special caller Emma Neighbor. Everyone is invited to the Contra Dance to join in, or just observe. Each dance is taught with several run-throughs; then the music starts and everyone enjoys the fun. Har-Ber Village Executive Director, Nicole Reynolds said, "There is lots going on in the Village, and we want all area families and friends to come and enjoy this entertaining and wonderful Music Festival."
