The first event of the new Grove Springs Cultural District, designated such by the Grove City Council on April 4, 2017, invites artists of original work in the Grand Lake area to display that work at the first arts festival from 10:00-6:00 Saturday, September 16, 2017.
If you are a performer-- soloist, part of a small group, or a large group-- and want to showcase your talent, there are opportunities to join in the fun as well.
If you are a business in Grove and want to promote your business through the arts, think about who you know who is an artist or performer that you might showcase at your business and get onboard this great opportunity. Businesses all over Grove, not just those in the cultural district, may want to focus on the arts, not only during the festival but during other such events as seasonal open houses. There are many other activities around the lake and in Grove the day of the festival that may bring visitors into your place of business, especially if your business is noted in the program for the festival.
The deadline for entry forms is August 18, 2017. The forms list some of the kinds of arts and performers that may be involved, but if you have a question, there is a contact phone number to call.
