Grand Lake OK: 2019 Eastern Shawnee Back To School Pow Wow
School starts in a few weeks and the Eastern Shawnee Children's Back to School Powwow is next weekend! The Grand Lake Ok occurrence is planned Saturday, August 3rd. The Powwow site is at 69701 E Hwy 60, Wyandotte, Oklahoma. The celebrations will take place from 12 noon to 3 pm.
Families will appreciate the Pow Wow festivity and there will be events prearranged with them in mind. Adults & children alike will enjoy seeing the intriguing Indian culture and dancing in the dusk from 3 pm to 7 pm. The Grand Entry will take place at 7 pm. Also, the stomp dance will take place after the children’s powwow.
