The Cayuga Mission Church is located in the Grove, Oklahoma area and the location holds history which dates back to Indian Territory times. The church is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The church was built in 1886 and is an attraction to visitors in the Grand Lake Ok area. A Native American by the name of Mathias Splitlog built the church out of hewn limestone. The inside of the church is decorated with beautiful hand carved wood with embellishments. Fifteen stones are in place with Indian symbols on each won which for the arched door entrance. The Cayuga Mission Church is open for the public to see and groups can come by appointment.
