Chris McCall of Brookeland, Texas, weighed four bass totaling 16 pounds, 9 ounces Saturday to win the Walmart Bass Fishing League Okie Division event on Grand Lake. For his victory, McCall earned $5,604.
McCall said that he was fishing the edge of a creek near Elk River using a Yum umbrella rig and a Santone jig. He was fishing in about12-feet of water.

The next BFL Okie Division tournament is scheduled for March 29 on the Arkansas River in Muskogee, Okla. After the last divisional tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 16-18 Regional Championship on Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Jasper, Texas. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy Silverado, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard.
