Har-Ber Village Museum has been operating in the Grand Lake OK area for forty-five years. The museum and visitor center provides a unique experience for the family. The village holds a pioneer atmosphere and is located in Grove, Oklahoma.
Visitors will experience the past as well as celebrate the present at Har-Ber Village Museum. The location holds several historical buildings which include a jail house, school house, and more than twenty log cabins. Individuals will also see structures from pioneer times to include a bank, stage coach inn, a court house, as well as an old pioneer church. Other buildings replicated on site include a post office, dentist office, hanging gallows, a printing shop, and much more!
Seeing the displays at Har-Ber Village will bring you back in time. It will feel as if you have been in the mid-1800s era to the 1900s. Exhibits are available for the children to experience and see including demonstrations, crafting, educational programs, as well as other scheduled events. Scenic trails at Har-Ber Village are also available to walk and experience nature at its fullest.
A variety of collections are available for visitors to see. Collections include Boy Scout collections, Girl Scout collections, military collections, Indian collections and more. Old maps and newspapers are available to view along with many other unique artifacts.
Tours are available on Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Individuals must arrive within one hour of closing to enter the Grand Lake attraction provided. Please consider making this attraction an all-day event to absorb the history and atmosphere it brings. Admission for adults is $10. Admission for children is $5; but group/family admission packs are available if needed.
