The Eastern Trails Museum Open House will take place during the Route 66 Festival on June 18th. Come and explore the history of Northeastern Oklahoma including the Indian Territory along with the Cherokee Influence. Visitors will also learn about the Civil War Battle of Cabin Creek.
Military history and historical information about ranching, home crafting, and rural living will also be presented. During the festival, live music will also be presented in the museum’s courtyard. At 1 pm, the rock band, Aesop and the Fables will be celebrating the festivities.
The Eastern Trails Museum Open House will take place from 9 am to 5 pm. The museum is located at 215 East Illinois Avenue in Vinita, Oklahoma. Come enjoy refreshments and tours of historical significance!
