Fourth of July is celebrated at Grand Lake O' the Cherokee with several fireworks shows for the entire community on and off the water.
You can watch the fireworks from different areas around the lake including Grove, Monkey Island, Wolf Creek, Duck Creek, and many more.
To commemorate our nation's independence, the annual Independence Day celebrations in Grove are held at Wolf Creek Park. The celebration's fireworks display is one of the most anticipated events of the year in Grove. Festivities start on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 6 P.M and the fireworks display starts at dark.
Residents and visitors gather to see the colorful fireworks reflected in the clear waters of Grand Lake after spending an afternoon and evening of games, live music, watermelon treats, and other exciting events for the whole family.
Besides the fireworks display, you can enjoy free watermelon treats served by the city's firefighters on this special day.
The Monkey Island fireworks Festival will also take place on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 6 P.M. to 10.30 P.M. The show will happen at the Shangri-La hotel but the fireworks will still be visible from the Grand Lake OK area.
You are welcome to join the family fun activity as we celebrate Independence Day in style this year.
The entertainment begins in the morning and ends when the fireworks show brings the sky to life at dark. Boaters on the Grand Lake will also enjoy the beautiful star-spangled fireworks displays over the water on their boats.
The events are free to attend but your contributions will still be accepted to promote next year’s shows. It will be an exciting night for the family and friends.
The Duck Creek fireworks display also includes acrobatic air shows led by the F-16s. It’s a whole hour of acrobatic show and fun.
Join in the fun as the town showcases its best display of fireworks and aircraft. You will even be able to purchase the event’s T-shirts as memorabilia and enjoy free watermelon provided by Grove's firefighters.
We also have reports that the Cliff Elliot Memorial Fireworks show is still on for Sunday, July 3, 2021. The fireworks show will take place between the spillways in Disney at night.
