Grand Lake Ok offers plenty of places to visit for the day. The Pensacola Dam is located in the area and offers tours during warmer months. The dam is unique in the fact that it is the longest with multiple arches, fifty-one to be exact.

The construction of Pensacola Dam took many man hours to complete. Construction took place seven days out of each week and took twenty months to complete. And, this was during the time of the depression which makes it even more intriguing.

Tours are available to the public during the summer time. Each individual over the age of 18 must provide valid identification, such as a driver’s license or state ID. International VISAs are also accepted.
