Grand Lake Ok Family Events: Pelican Festival (New Location)

The Pelican Festival is a wonderful family friendly event which takes place in the heart of Grand Lake Ok. This year the main event is scheduled for Friday, October 9, and Saturday, October 10. There will be a new location for the event this year: Wolf Creek Park which is located at 963 North 16th Street in Grove, Oklahoma.

There will be much fun for all ages including children and adults during this popular celebration! The annual Pelican Festival Parade will start at 10 am on Saturday and will begin at the Grove Civic Center.

Later in the day, live entertainment will take place for the migratory celebration which will include Tori Lynn Kostan, Miss Grand Lake’s Outstanding Teen. She will take the stage at approximately 3 pm, soon followed by Maddie Logan with country music.

At Wolf Creek Park, an arts and craft show will be taking place on the north end. There will be plenty of vendors available showing off different things. Food options will also be available for the public to enjoy.

Currently, there will be a carnival for the children to enjoy on Wednesday through Friday. This will be held at Wolf Creek Park as well. Wednesday, wristbands will be available for the children at $15. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, they will be available for $20.
