In Oklahoma, a statewide executive order is in place to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Across all seventy-seven counties, a “Safer at Home” order is in place until April 30th.

Businesses Deemed Essential

Although, all non-essential businesses are to close. There are many essential businesses allowed to remain open across the state. Some of the lake-related essential businesses include the following:

• Hunting areas

• Fishing locations

• Golfing facilities

• Forestry entities

• Agricultural locations

• Food & beverage stores

• Sporting goods stores

• General merchandise centers

For the above businesses, it is essential for all individuals and workers to use social distancing guidelines. To view the current list of essential categories of business, please see the OK Commerce Government Document. For more info on Physical Distancing Procedures, please visit the CDC website.
