American Heritage Music Festival Is Back

“Grove is full of excitement for 2022 summer events!” says founder Jana Jae as the 25th Annual American Heritage Music Festival joins the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce for the Toes in the Grand weekend, June 9th  - 12th.. Fiddlers, guitarists, musicians and music enthusiasts from across the US gather for this exciting Festival celebrating our nation’s musical heritage. This will be the third year for the two events to be combined into a large family-friendly event.

The American Heritage Music Festival starts at 6:30 Thursday evening, June 9, with an optional lakeside dinner and entertainment at Snider’s Camp, located 1 mile south and ½ mile east of Honey Creek Bridge in Grove. The evening features Bob Novak and the Fabulous Backroad Drifters, Lucy Weberling and “I’m Not Lisa,” Festival Fiddlers, Jana Jae and Friends, and other great entertainment, plus plenty of jamming and fun. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a lakeside dinner and free entertainment.

The Grand Lake National Fiddle Contest begins at 9 am, Friday, June 10 at Wolf Creek Park, with 4 divisions for all ages including the Open Division competing for the Grand Champion prize of $1,000. Contestants can register online at or register onsite day of the event. Register online now for substantial savings! Early Bird registration closes at midnight on May 15.

The Festival welcomes Splinter Middleton back as popular emcee, singer, and entertainer, and you don’t want to miss the headliner entertainment on Friday evening! Cliff Top returns by popular demand for the second year with their multi-genre vocals and stellar instrumental talent, Possum Trot is delightful high energy, award-winning bluegrass band, Jana Jae & World Champion Barry “Bones” Patton join vocalist Clint Walker, and the Junior Marriott Western Swing Dance Band rounds out an evening of great music, fun and dancing.

Bring your lawn chairs to Wolf Creek Park and enjoy a full day and evening of  entertainment, with local and area food trucks serving up their best cuisine and lots of interesting activity throughout the Park. All of this with FREE ADMISSION!!
